Prior to his photography career, Todd worked mostly in painting, drawing and collage, all of which continue to influence his current approach to fine art and commercial photography. Using everything from taxidermy to embroidery, and sculpture to painting, to produce his photograph vision. Much of his work involves digital collage of elements from different photos into a single frame.

With roots at the foothills of the Sandia Mountains in New Mexico, Todd finds himself most at home on open land under big skies. This eyes-wide-open perspective extends to his creative process, one in which every medium and avenue is fair game in his effort to turn vision into “reality”. Often that reality is caught somewhere between past and present, real and not real – somewhere we feel we’ve been before, or maybe dreamed of – the kind where life’s banalities are candy-coated.

Todd is currently based in Los Angeles, CA
